This project consisted of a 29,500 SF single-story expansion conjoining the existing library to the County Library Systems Administration Building and the complete renovation of the existing 11,500 SF library.
Special features include a state-of-the-art 400-seat black box auditorium which is open to the public and can be used as mini conference center for business meetings, weddings, and other private events and a sloped roof from elevated topography which extends landscaped area to a green roof accessible from the second level.
The Parma-Snow Branch circulates more materials per square foot than any other library in the region. This expansion and forward-thinking update to the branch, combined with the auditorium and meeting space capabilities within the administrative building, provide unlimited potential to this community asset.
The addition features a green roof and inviting landscape features to offset the green space that was lost to new construction.
