This new facility provides CSU an identity and presence it has never had by bringing together multiple medical programs in one building, thereby expanding the opportunity to encourage collaboration across disciplines and interdisciplinary education.
CSU has partnered with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) to train doctors in urban healthcare, and the new facility allows for a permanent presence for the medical school on CSU’s campus.
This 3-story signature building is located in the heart of CSU's busy downtown Cleveland campus. The facility houses audiology and simulation labs, occupational and physical therapy training rooms, distance learning classrooms, research areas, and meeting spaces where students from all medical disciplines can study and collaborate.
Many of the spaces are technologically advanced for multiple modes of teaching and interaction, as well as the ability to accommodate distance learning.
